Any 2 to 3 1/5 year old who:
Is just starting to feel comfortable in peer group settings and activities
Is ready to be introduced to letter names, sounds, and numbers
Has a responsible adult that would enjoy and benefit from peer and professional interaction
Class Information:
Classes are held twice a week for 75 to 90 minutes depending on the location.
Parent/responsible adult participation is required – Adults learn this engaging method of sound/symbol relationship along with their toddlers.
Creative Kids
Students are taught:
This arts and crafts class fosters creativity, enhances fine motor skills, and boosts self-esteem through hands-on crafting projects. It also supports the development of essential skills in reading, writing, and math, sparking curiosity and keeping students excited about learning while immersing them in a world of creativity and fun.
This class involves singing, moving, and dancing with songs and rhythm, and includes exploring musical instruments and their sounds. Kids will make an instrument to play in class and take home. Music and movement benefit children’s cognitive skills, motor skills, social-emotional abilities, and creativity, helping set a foundation for their development and academic excellence, all while having fun.
Reading Development Grades K-2
Students are taught:
Phonetics for decoding (sounding out words) Word structure for encoding (spelling) Methods to improve following written and spoken directions Leveled reading with take home sheets Basic math (counting, patterns, time, measurement, and more) Fine motor skill development (writing, coloring, cutting, glueing) Comprehension (vocabulary/critical thinking applications) Visualization (developing mental pictures) Self-confidence Desire and enjoyment of education
Who should take this class:
Any 3 1/2 to 5 year old who: Is just starting to learn letter names, letter sounds and simple math Is ready to start or accelerate reading and math abilities Will benefit from personalized study and attention Has a parent/responsible adult that would enjoy and benefit from peer and professional interaction Is fully potty trained Is ready to attend class without a parent/responsible adult
Class Information:
Classes held for three hours a day, two or three days a week depending on location. Limited parent participation required. Our goal is to keep the child to adult ratio low so each child has individual attention

Speed Reading & Vocabulary

Class Information:
Classes are held once a week for four weeks. Students are tested weekly on their reading speed and comprehension. Progress logs are used so that each student can keep track of their progress and track their improvement. This class is a lecture style instruction with class participation and take home materials. Students will have nightly reading drills and vocabulary due each week. Each teacher is specially trained to teach this Mastery Program.

$55 an hour with a 1 hour minimum
Times:
Once schools are back in session, tutoring will be offered in the afternoons between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Tutoring days and times are scheduled by parents and instructors.
